Having employees supposes the task of employee reviews. Some employers fear giving their workers testimonials. But employee reviews are not completely a bad thing. It is a opportunity to assess performance goals, address issues, and set your employees up for success in the future.

Giving employees quarterly, semi-annual, or annual reviews can reap not just the worker, but your organization as a whole. "Employee reviews are a procedure that should happen all year long," states Paul Falcone, author of 2600 Phrases for Effective Performance Reviews. "How much do you value me as a worker if out of the 2,080 hours I work, and-Lord knows it is greater than that-you just give me a single review? It is simply not enough."

This performance review should be a reciprocal sharing of perceptions regarding the worker's accomplishments as well as areas which may be improved upon.
